Our core team have been together for in excess of 15 years. WMS was established in May 1994 when John Watter and Jeff McDermid retired as Partners of Ernst & Young. Aaron Lavell and David Brims were managers at Ernst & Young also and were two of the founding 7 staff. Aaron and David were admitted as partners in 1999.

Anthony Karos and Ben Dean were admitted as partners in 2003 which coincided with John Watter’s retirement. David Hayes was appointed as a partner in 2005. Stephen Holmes was appointed as a partner in 2006.

Our strong reputation has been created by an energetic team with a diverse range of skills and personalities. In addition to our Corporate Finance specialisation as outlined in this document the firm’s other areas of expertise include the following:

• Financial Planning; and
• Legal Support.

The firm has now grown to a total staff complement of 63, 27 of whom are CA or CPA qualified.
